We really enjoyed this movie. We can't wait until our grandson is old enough to enjoy the movie with us.

Much more than a story about a boy and his dogs.
Although it has been nearly two weeks since I finished listening to the tape of Where the Red Fern Grows, I am fighting to choke back the tears even now. I plan to order several copies for Christmas gifts.
Read this book as a child and then read it again to a boy I care for while his mother was a work. We barely got through the ending as I could barely read through the tears and he found it equally sad. Great story.
