Bailey and two of his boys in the hills

Left to Right: Fawkes,  Bo, Chloe, Bailey
In the meadows of Briones Regional Park:  Dad and Sons
Fawkes  (2-year-old male) and Bo ( 1-year-old male) are from Bailey's first two litters.  They both will be being shown at the Northern California Vizsla Club Specialty Show on June 8th.

Aaron has Fawkes and Chloe waiting for a stick and Bailey having a sip
We took a two and a half hike in the hills and covered about eight and a half miles.  The dogs must have run twenty to thirty miles.
A good swim during a great spring Sunday morning 8.5 mile hike

Hi, I as well could watch this all day! As a soon to be vizsla owner I've been doing my reading. How do you protect your pups from foxtail this time of year?

Angela,
Look up "outfox" on my search box.
Welcome to your Vizsla addiction.

Thank you so much! I am without a dog, yet already a V addict. How about for the rest of the V's body? Does a thorough check post workout do the trick? Today I was running in the hills by my house and it was covered in foxtail. Thank you for your wisdom and help!

Preventic Tick Collars work for the body to deal with the ticks in the hills. A good body check shows EVERYTHING on the Vizslas short hair.

I'll have to live vicariously through your blog posts for the next 8 weeks. Riley is already bouncing around and wanting to run. I'm trying to figure out Vizsla language for "you need to rest so your leg can heal". :)

So... how did Bailey's boys go at the show Rod?
